WHAT WILL PARTICIPANTS GAIN?
Participants who engage in this course will be provided with the tools to understand the employment sector both locally and internationally, identify local education opportunities and compile a personal professional profile.
The aim of the programme is to:
- Describe the basic principles underpinning career preparation
- Distinguish between different types of work
- Identify local training and education options
- Compile a personal profile
- Practice a range of personal interactions typical of work situations
A combination of module appropriate assessment procedures will facilitate the assessment of learning outcomes of this course. Participants will be expected to complete a combination of written assignments and skills demonstrations.
