Closer To Farm focuses on empowering young people to understand the importance of sustainable food production and short food supply chains. The main objectives of Closer To Farm are both enhance young peoples knowledge about the key role of Short Food Supply Chains (SFSC) to contribute to sustainable practices in healthy food consumption. This will be achieved through the development of a free e-learning courses and a game for young people to explore.
In addition, this project aims to improve the skills of youth workers and farmers in the use of gamification to support young people to take action in this area.
In order to raise awareness of Short Food Supply Chains, a documentary will be produced in the final stages of the project.
