The Green4C (GreenForCare) project is a three-year initiative co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. It aims to increase Europe's innovation capacity by developing university-business partnerships that promote nature-based solutions for health, well-being, and social inclusion. The project specifically targets the development of Green Care entrepreneurial opportunities for students, researchers, professionals, and practitioners. Green Care encompasses activities involving contact with nature to promote physical and mental well-being and social inclusion.
Green4C focuses on four thematic sectors: Forest-based Care, Urban Green Care, Social Agriculture, and Green Care Tourism. Through integrating health, social inclusion, and natural resource sectors, Green4C aims to innovate and create sustainable business models. The project offers interdisciplinary training, practical experience, and resources to enhance entrepreneurial skills and innovation in Green Care.
