The CYBER.EU.VET project, funded by Erasmus+, aims to improve the cybersecurity readiness of the European Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. Running from March 2021 to November 2022, the project addresses the increasing reliance on online training and the growing importance of recognising and managing cybersecurity threats such as phishing attacks, botnets, financial frauds, and data breaches.
CYBER.EU.VET will develop and provide a comprehensive suite of resources, including research analysis, cybersecurity awareness training materials, a training toolkit for trainers, and a cybersecurity handbook for VET institutions. These materials are designed to enhance the capacity of VET providers across Europe, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle cybersecurity challenges in an evolving digital landscape. Through developing a culture of cybersecurity awareness and resilience, the project aims to protect both educators and learners, ultimately contributing to a safer and more secure educational environment.
