The Managers as Coaches (MAC) project aims to revolutionise performance management by developing a coaching-based methodology and a new learning tool utilising game-based learning. Targeting enterprises and managers in the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, and Spain, MAC focuses on implementing performance-based coaching for work-based teams and individuals.
This initiative seeks to place coaching at the core of managerial roles, transforming managers, owners, and directors into effective coaches. Through developing and testing a new vocational education and training (VET) pedagogical approach, MAC ensures that coaching becomes an integral part of management practices. The project emphasises the importance of coaching in enhancing team performance and individual development, promoting a supportive and growth-oriented work environment.
