The HEALTH@HOME project aims to transform areas of social and economic disadvantage into sustainable, healthy communities by promoting health literacy through innovative family learning approaches. This Erasmus+ funded project focuses on providing a comprehensive range of age-appropriate and accessible educational resources to families. Through enhancing health literacy, the project seeks to empower individuals to make informed health decisions, thereby contributing to the overall well-being and sustainability of their communities.

HEALTH@HOME addresses important health literacy issues, particularly significant in the context of the global pandemic. The project aims to tackle poverty, social exclusion, and discrimination, promoting social justice and equality. In equipping families with the knowledge and skills to improve their health, the project also aims to reduce public health costs, allowing health systems to function more efficiently for those in real need.

The project includes various resources such as educational comics for children, a training programme and handbook for educators, and an interactive e-learning platform. These tools are designed to support continuous professional development and to facilitate family learning in a fun and engaging way.
