Elevate is a VET project focused on addressing the skilled workforce shortage in SMEs across Europe. The main objective is to develop innovative approaches and tools for SMEs and small organisations to find individual solutions to this critical issue, which is a major concern for the European economy and society.
The project will begin with partners researching potential factors within SMEs that can help tackle the problem across four action levels: full-time employment for women, employment for older workers nearing or past retirement, leveraging diversity and migration potentials, and upskilling the low-skilled and unskilled. Based on this research, Elevate will develop a comprehensive online potential scanner and a strategy workshop concept for SMEs.
Throughout the project, an innovative online potential scanner will be created to help SMEs identify their unique potentials and gaps in these four areas. Based on the scanner results, tailored strategy-building workshops will be offered, enabling SMEs to develop concrete action strategies.
